The company behind Walleys Quarry in Silverdale, Red Industries, has recently applied for planning permission to expand their site here in Stoke. This will let them handle dangerous gases right in our back yards! As a Labour group, we do not want to see this happen.

The site in question is located on Sneyd Hill – just minutes away from Burslem, Cobridge, Smallthorne and Sneyd Green. But if it goes ahead, it will affect people all over the city. We all know that Red Industries can’t be trusted to do what’s right, so we won’t allow them to ruin our lives.
